Thank you all for sharing your sims story and for different tips. It is very amazing for me to see those and to learn how you guys play the game. I didn't know that the autonomy will create such a huge impact!
Yup I feel like I am a micromanager hahaha but now I think its a bit too much I think I need to less it. Love the last pic! <3
Its been almost two years since I tried rotational play. Thank you for giving me an insight how can these affect me :)
I never tried the criminal career, but if its worth those interactions I might try it. I never got a chance to play that career in Sims 3. Its a bit different from the careers I normally choose so I might do it.
My child some was sad of the loss of the dog. I decided to take him to the ruins to feel better(they live at the old town at windenburg). He immediately started going mean to an adult sim. I was shocked when I saw that the sim was burning. I thought myself that maybe its alright. A few minutes later they are enemies, and constantly arguing until the girl was burned to death. It was one of the memories I will never forget in sims 4 for years. Thank you for sharing your tip. It helped me looking the gameplay I wanted. Thank you. <3 <3
I never use that feature hahaha so maybe its time. I also never got sibling arguments yet I have twins so this might be perfect. Thank you for sharing <3 <3

Honstly, I just let my sims do whatever while closely observing the outcome of their actions, and often at times put a lot of my own emphasis on their situations.
I started my saves over, so I'm playing my usual household from the beginning. My main sims' (Kilan & Kaylin, twins) parents (Kari and Nakul) are currently having a falling out of their marriage due to trust/cheating issues, greed and some child negligence.
The twins' grandparents came by to intervene before it got any worse - you can also see their grandmother comforting Kari.

It's obviously not recommended if you're not into all the micromanagement necessary to tell a story, but I tend to take a lot of screenshots for sharing purposes - that being said I use custom poses to enhance the moments.

I don’t have much drama, because I’m not into drama stuff, but sometimes there can be some chaos or really mundane minor drama.
For example, I have a single mother raising several of her nephew toddlers (and she’s looking for a boyfriend in her life), and a human and vampire couple dealing with the vampire family stuff, and another family with multiple families living together trying to balance work and family stuff.
It’s what you make of it. I tend to like happy stuff (with some bits of challenges), so my sims are usually pretty happy. Even in the old games (except Sims 1–needed a cheat for that one), it was pretty easy to get some sims happy.
Opposing personalities (or supernaturals w/ humans) in the same house can bring some bits of drama, though, lol.

I'm not really into drama either. Sometimes, I get bored and have a Sim start a ruckus of some sort. I have a hard time getting back into things if something really dramatic has occurred relationship-wise like a break-up or a divorce. But I do like to play with a hotheaded Sim though and rile up random by-passers. Also, doing the Boss branch in the criminal career can spice things up a bit with some specifically unpleasant interactions.

I sometimes let Sims flirt as they want and see where it leads. Or I'll let have interactions that make them enemies and fight each time they see one another.

With Parenthood you can start arguments between your sims. They can argue about money, their careers, the kids, politics, etc... it’s a great way to make them angry and start drama 3:)
