How do you get engaged in My Wedding Stories

"Propose" doesn't show up until you've built up the relationship meters (both the green and pink one). I believe it has to be 40% or higher on both of the bars. I also think you need them to be boyfriend/girlfriend, so if you haven't done that step yet, try that.

I recommend you get the romantic relationship higher than the requirement, like at least 60-70% before you do the proposal though, it reduces the chance of the proposal being rejected.

Both are at 100% for several couples and none of them can propose.

Do you have mods in the game? We can also now engage sims in CAS by the way.

If you don’t see the option right away it will probably appear after a few romantic interactions. Have you tried a bunch of those to warm things up?

On starting a new game without mods the option was there once the relationships built up enough. So it is an issue with a mod.

To be expected after a new game pack, I had one mod making it so my sims couldn't do dishes (I had to manually drag them with the mouse to get rid of them)...and it was a mod that the mod author just updated a few days ago, so the new pack today broke it again.
