How do you make peace with the randomly generated sims?

I have realised that the reason I can't move beyond about 3 generations in any legacy is that I actually spend hours more on making over the randomly generated sims, and also making over the randomly...

I'll make them over once and a while, but generally I don't mind them. It's more realistic, imo. Not everyone walks around looking perfect in real life so it makes sense to me to be like that in my game also. Makes it more interesting for me 🤷‍♀️
