I'm currently playing a rich family. My founder sim didn't start off rich. She earned her money then met another fellow celebrity who is incredibly rich. They will marry and have children.
You could have the children meet friends who are rebels and have the kids go off the rails or marry sims that dont meet the parents expectations.
When I like a family I am too nice so my founder and her husband wont care who they marry but they have celebrity status so the kids might have bad reputations where the parents have good.
