Is it available to the kids too? My kid sim is having a birthday party. I invited only kid sims around town. I have an option that have an adult sim make toast with another sim. I let my parent sim and teen sim who is having a birthday hold drinks at the same time but I can find only,'clean up', and 'drink'.
Have a Sim get a drink then have the sim that is holding the drink click on another sim and it should be a option that says make a toast.
Finally I got it. First, my parent sim made a group and then collected all members around him, then make toast showed up. - My Sim was able to make a toast (and I don't have the Party SP) the other day while visiting a Sim and holding one of those drinks from the tray. It was under friendly interactions. I guess this came in GT? and I never noticed. The other Sim wasn't holding a drink and they were both sitting on a couch talking with each other.

Then you can find it!
It was called sometimes "cheers", sometimes "toast".

- The only way for me to get the toast interaction (under the friendly menu), was to have both sims STANDING and drinking at the same time. If they are sitting and drinking, then it's frustratingly hard to get the toast interaction to pop up because between sips they put the drink down. This doesn't seem to count as "holding" a drink.
- This is an old post but - thanks Kat. I have a child birthday and I just lost out on yet another gold. That was the only thing left! But trying everything I could think of (although I didn't actually try having the girl ask for a drink too - but I was running out of time) and still nothing.
Next up - adult birthdays. Perhaps that will be easier. - After many failed attempts, I discovered that the best way to have an adult make a toast is to do the above as well as have both the toaster and toastee sitting together on a couch or other piece of furniture.
- moxiegraphix7 years agoSeasoned AceIt's always hit or miss for me, honestly. I hate it when it comes up as a goal. LOL. But, yeah, having them sit closer together and both having a drink can help.
Edit: Just saw the last post and didn't realize how old this was. Ugh. Sorry! - EA_Cian7 years ago

This has been revived a few times and while I hope people find the tips helpful, I am going to close it considering its age + that each necro has only had a post or two before the conversation's gone quiet.
