I don't get chance cards anymore because of how I play the two active saves I have right now. When I did get them it was dependent on the sim in question and their personality. Now to explain why I no longer get chance cards. The two active saves I have are for SimLit stories I share here on the forums. In those saves I have lots setup to act as workplaces and I act out each sim's work day, active or rabbit hole, whenever I need them to be at work for the story. Every so often I use the money cheat to add some simoleons to their bank account to simulate a paycheck. If I don't need them to be at work as part of the storyline they are free to do whatever they want.
