I am Cautiously excited in this one. On one side I do not want to be dissapointed but in the other side I wish they would have a huge surprise like Cars or something fan faovrite!
After last year, I rather keep my expectations low.
(my expectations were EXTREMELY high for the 20th anniversary! But we all know what happened eventually...) - I wish they did something cool
so we could have actual fun anniversary party with few ts1-2-3 items or something
but they most likely won't : (
so sad in advance
thats just how it goes
every year i wish
every year it disappoints - Yeah... last year put my expectations on the floor

At most, I'm hoping for an apology item to make up for last year. But EA never listens and almost never acknowledges fault, so. A large part of me feels like we won't even get a patch next month.
You don't have a choice. Why? Lets say you don't update the game next month, but wait until March, April, May instead to update. Not only will you get the update that you are wanting. You will also still be getting Feb's update as well. Sims 4's updating is not like Sims 3's where we can pick and choose which updates that we want. Sims 4's update was set up so that your game will have all the updates for the new Pack. So you can't skip updates in Sims 4, like we could in Sims 3.
Sorry, my post probably wasn't clear enough. I meant that the devs might not even release a patch next month. There have been times where they just leave this broken game untouched.
Oh ok, that's different then. Yeah, it is possible that they may not update the game at all next month. I remember them doing that at least once last year where they had skipped a month when it came updating Sims 4. But since the 21st anniversary of the franchise is next month. I seriously doubt that they'll skip updating Sims 4 at that time. Now if they'll release a special anniversary content in the update or not is still very questionable. But there's a very slim chance that they might not even update the game at all next month.- GracieFace312New SpectatorDefinitely not really expecting anything but I still can’t help but think they had something planned for the 20th that was unstable so they delayed it by another year. That’s what I’m going to tell myself anyway...
- SthenastiaNew SpectatorThey can add a lot of spectacular objects and/or maps from the previous games, but probably they will give us nothing.

21st isn't a big anniversary. Maybe we'll get a bar to joke about it legally being old enough to drink in America but I'm not expecting anything big.
okay if they make bar item can it at least be drink tray not one of those huge bars that make no sense to place in my sims homes cause who even has full on bar in their house
I've been in a few houses that had them in the basement. Heck, my house came with a dry one. We now use it as a game Master's station with books instead of bottles.
That said, a Drink tray or something smaller would be my preference too if we got something along those lines. - LoanetRising ScoutWe never got much before. Currently Febuary's patch is probably going to focus on everything broken in Paranormal.
- crocobauraSeasoned AceI remember one year they gave us some beautiful wrought iron set with columns and patio table based on TS1 old town.
