Under the Normal Age setting, a sim lives about 90 days from birth to elder death, give or take a day or so, assuming you don't age them up early during any of those life stages.
Now at 7 days each, it will take 28 days for a whole year to pass by, which means a sim under normal age setting of 90 days, will see approximately 3.2 times.
Now at 14 days each, it will take 56 days for a whole year to pass by, which means a sim under the normal age setting of 90 days, will see approximately 1.6 times. - Short Lifespan = approx. 42 days
Normal Lifespan = approx. 81 days
Long Lifespan = approx. 324 days
*Lifespan info from sims.wikia.com/wiki/Life_stage
7 day seasons(Short) = 28 days for a 'year' (7*4=28)
14 day seasons(Normal) = 56 days for a 'year' (14*4=56)
28 day seasons(Long) = 112 days for a 'year' (28*4=112)
Short Lifespan + Short Seasons = 1.5 'years' (42/28=1.5)
Normal Lifespan + Short Seasons = 2.89 'years' (81/28=2.89)
Normal Lifespan + Normal Seasons = 1.44 'years' (81/56=1.44)
Long Lifespan + Short Seasons = 7.71 'years' (324/42=7.71)
Long Lifespan + Normal Seasons = 4 'years' (324/81=4)
Long Lifespan + Long Seasons = 2.89 'years' (324/112=2.89) - ldm27 years agoSeasoned AceI play on long life, but rotational, so I keep the seasons on 7 days, and play each household for all 4 seasons.
