My previous save, the family had 4 children. I wanted a girl but they kept having twin boys so they just stopped having children and they ended up getting a fembot servo to replace the child they didn't get since the wife was a techy. The current file they only have 1 and it's a girl. I may have them have 2 - 3, 3 just to be safe for a boy. I usually age up the toddlers to children before they have any more children since having multiple toddlers can be a hand full and frustrating. I'd make them have 1 but I like them to have children of both genders. But the top number of children is I usually have in the families I play is 1-3 tops.
