I play legacy style, so I often have a pair of elders in my household. My elders tend to either stay career-oriented, or I have them retire and take up new hobbies. My latest pair of elders were husbands, Remy and Ryland; Remy stuck with his career as an artist, but spent a good chunk of his time at home with his two granddaughters (and the rest with Ryland <3 ), and Ryland retired from the athletic career to help raise his granddaughters (with his daughter-in-law), and he also mentored his son in the athletic skill. One thing I would love is an elder stuff pack, where we get some elder exclusive clothing (we could really use age tags for this age group to help set them apart) and some hobbies that are more oriented for them. Give us bird watching, sewing, or something that our poor elders can enjoy. I'm pretty sure all of my elders end up pretty good at chess by the time they pass away (could we at least get a recolor for checkers lmao). I don't know anything about croquet, but I just thought of it as it could be something for elders to do together.
This sounds like an interesting story. Would love to know more of the game play on this.
Yes there should be a range of ages for all the ages. I like your ideas of bird watching, etc. There could be book clubs now as I have had them do that with the club system. But really the elders should be fleshed out a bit more. Not all elders are hunched over with a cane. In real life as an elder (70) I most certainly am not. I am grateful I am not.
There should be games of all sorts. I use the bowling and the movie pack quite a bit then I go looking for mods and things that will enhance the gameplay for elders. Some of the elder clothing is a bit much. especially for the men. But I think it adds some humor to the elders. I have made a crazy cat lady and I would love to make the bird lady of central park https://www.redbubble.com/people/halnormank/works/837658-bird-lady-of-central-park-nyc And other quirky elders. I would also like to see Mrs. Crumblebottom come back again
