How many residential lots in Strangerville?

I'm thinking of purchasing this one during the sale but I want a usable town. I can't tell from the pics I've seen how many neighborhoods there are, or how many actual residential lots there are (can't tell which houses are actually livable.)

So I'd like to know- how many already built houses are there? How many empty lots?

Thanks.

  • Strangerville comes with 12 lots, 7 of those are residental lots with pre-built houses, two are empty residental lots and then there is a library, a bar and a lab.

You most likely want to replace or rebuild the pre-built houses as they are not that great.
  • One of the houses is an underground bunker built under the wreckage of an abandoned aircraft!
  • Crashed aircraft to be exact, the plane crash landed as the direct result of . Back on topic, though. The world has around 17 residential lots split into two neighborhoods (the Plaza and the Shady Acres). The Plaza is the main town and also consists of a bar and library, both of which can't be changed to a residential lot due to story importance (you can edit their design, though). The Shady Acres on the other hand is located next to a Canyon and is pretty much where all the rich folks live (there are several manors and mansions there when you first arrive in Strangerville).
  • Do I need the library lot in strangerville for the story?? I want to delete it make a restaurant but I will wait until I do the story if I need it.
  • The 2 empty lots are very small, only 20x30. A bad decision since they are both in the 'rich' part of town. The library is necessary for story play as it has the archives to look through and is the hang-out for scientists. You need to get chummy with one in order to get a filter for the hazmat suit. Overall this is one of the more pathetic towns EA has foisted on us.
