Depends, if they have a sequel under production, then I don't think they will be able to convince EA to keep going with the sims4.
They have already demonstrated during these six years that they are not really interested in making the game feel complete so I think when EA decides that they are done, they are done.
Sims4 keeps making them money though, and they are really trying to extend the game's lifecycle with their marketing so they could keep going for several more years.
Unfortunately I think that is what will decide when the sims4 will end, not that people want werewolves, farming or cars...but if EA decides that they want to move on.
