- kukkahillaSeasoned Hotshot@carpe_diem No problem! Yeah it would make a lot of sense if they reacted to interactions! It kind of breaks the immersion when they don't.
@SheriSim57 That's a nice tip! My high maintenance sim is a professional pianist and he has taken a manicure twice. He likes to do it when his nail breaks  - Ulf-GunnelNew SpectatorJust discovered 2 big issues with working from home (ex. offering massages) that need to be fixed.
1. There's no option to lock your doors for customers (It's customers everywhere! Some boundaries plz!)
2. There's no Send home option on customers (random guy now eating food from my fridge like a creep. You paid for a massage, not free food!) - Love it however the nails done at the spa don’t last long enough. One day is ridiculous so for now I’ll just have to add the mod to my game which makes nails last 1 week which is so much better than having to send your sim to the nail salon every other day.
Really hope they patch the refresh to make nails last longer.
Besides that live that we can provide wellness services and that we have face masks. - If they announced spending more time on refreshes than new packs I wouldn't even be mad - refreshes are an excellent idea and I'm really pleased with how this first one turned out. Some of the early packs (and indeed the base game) would/will really benefit from this kind of treatment. Hope to see more of it.

I'll say I'm satisfied. However, I'm definitely disappointed that this was the pack they chose to refresh, as I never felt like it was lacking much in the first place. The improvements are definitely nice and I'll appreciate them in my game, but we better see this level of "refresh" go into the packs that actually need it. I mean there was a poll on the forums asking which pack needed the refresh the most, and Spa Day came in last...
Was that poll an official one from the gurus or one someone randomly made? Also they’ve proved time and time again that they’ll pretty much do what they want; and clearly these new assets have been in the works for a while. - Kyr0eNew SpectatorCautiously optimistic. Maxis tends to do things that seem good, but ruin something else, or do something completely wonderful, then don't carry that forward.
- HavenRose2020New SpectatorIf this sets the tone for other refreshes, I’ll be happy. I was originally more interested in Outdoor Retreat getting a refresh to better integrate it with seasons and gardening. Since we’re actually getting new content, I’m much more interested in what they can add to any of the packs. I already own Spa Day, but if I didn’t I’d be more inclined to buy it with the new features.
- mellowgamerchickRising AdventurerJust based on what I saw on the live stream and the trailer, I think it's going to be a great opportunity for the Sims team to do the right thing and fix one of their earlier game packs. I hope we get more refreshes.
- Lonewolf1044Seasoned SpectatorBeing the patch or whatever it is has not been implemented yet, it is kind of hard to make an opinion even if it is word of mouth as I like hard copies and not soft copies. :)
- GrumpyGlowfishSeasoned NewcomerGiven that I expected nothing, I'm more than pleased with what we're getting, but I won't allow myself to be too happy about it just yet. This game is like Final Destination, always finding unexpected ways to kill the fun of even the most harmless additions that would have been cool otherwise. If by next weekend, all townies are generated with crazy nails and autonomously setting up their own yoga classes in the most inappropriate places during thunderstorms, I will be very disappointed (but hardly surprised).
