1) shift-click crib containing baby and "set as head".2) save and exit.3) reload. The head-crib will now be in the house, and so will the original crib, but both empty. Baby will no longer be part of household4) delete both cribs in build mode. Baby problems over.

Lol I sometimes see people wanting to get the baby adopted cos they don't want it in the house.

Isn't it easier to just age up the baby and then delete the child? Or if you can't directly delete it from an active household (I don't know, I haven't tried), use manage households to move in the kid with a non-active household and then delete that household.

You could also use manage households and give the baby to another household to raise.

Yeah but the beauty of my method is it wipes the baby out of existence and memory and family tree. :D

Excuse me, but what T F is the point of letting your sims have babies, if you just want to get rid of them afterwards?

Huh so there's another way to do it. I always just move the baby to another household and delete the household via manage household.

I think this method is easier than the manage household bit, especially if you want to get rid of them for good
Edit: wait, exit the game or just exit the lot bc i don't want to exit the game just for this :D

Except you can get rid of them for good through manage households and that doesn't require any cheats.

Well I moved one family in with another to be extra hands in my retail store. I didn't see there was a baby in the incoming household.

Everyone plays differently and if their story needed a baby at first and now they decided it doesn't anymore, this could be handy. Simple as that
