How to make business calls

For those who don't feel like reading...

They may, however, help with the success rate of Make Business Calls (found on the Phone under Household), which may only be done from 8PM-8AM - meaning your Sim needs to do them after work hours. Making these calls can help you get promoted faster so long as you have the Skill requirements met. Sims who make successful calls may get a Confident or +2 Embarrassed Moodlet depending whether they succeed or fail at the deal. It's more important you complete them than if you bother to make them.

Try checking the phone options after 8pm and see if the business calls option appears then.
If you still have issues, and if have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there.

To make Business calls, go to the phone and click on the briefcase for work-related options. Then click "make business calls". You can only perform them between 8 pm and 8 am.

Have you checked the computer? I've barely gotten started in the business career, and my Sim has yet to be promoted. Not the Sim's fault, but mine, as I've restarted him a couple of times for various reasons, that seemed good at the time … :\ I will keep a watch on this thread, in case someone comes along who really knows.

I know this may not answer your question, but thanks. You given me an idea of what to do for one of my sim's as to what career to give her.

Also others may have said it, but it usually is a phone option that appears. Not sure if a bug or if you use mods that might of broke it or not.

Have you checked all the phone options?
