I got rid of elder sims who arent a part of my sims life while in the manage households area. I don't really want them as ghosts, and I don't want the call for a stranger. Its a bit of extra work, but it keeps them from experiencing too many unneeded calls.
But I like using the journal for sadness. Teens can jog to clear the mind too which I love. It may be something sims with parents hood traits can do too like Emotionally stable ones.
