How to own a cafe?
Hi, not a restaurant, but a cafe. I built a wacky cafe (coffee bar) and want to purchase it but the closest option is restaurant. I tried that and sold it right back. Can Sims own anything other than the 4 businesses listed?

- No. You can put an espresso bar in a restaurant or retail shop and then hire a barista, but you can't own a cafe as such.
- Your sim can tend the espresso bar. I don't recall if you actually get paid or not. I also don't recall if the Tend option appears on the bar object or on the espresso machine.
Maybe have it be an owned retail lot, and mark some food items for sale? Then either your sim can tend the coffee bar, or hire a barista to do it, but the actual income comes from the food items. - If you don't mind mods I know there's mods where you can purchase a variety of the community lots the game has. I'm not too familiar with them tho, just know they're out there.
