How to solve childhood phases without cheating?

So since the cheats for removing them seem to be a bit bugged. I was wondering how do you solve the phases naturally? I know a few of them but not all of them!

Bear- Just have your parent sim dress up as a bear, both parents if you have two!
Clingy-Let your child sim make friends. At school seems to work!
Distant-?
Loud-?
MeanStreak-?
PickyEater-Let your sim eat junk food, quick meals ect...
Rebellious-?

Also I think they get bugged if you are switching households and there is a timer on them and it breaks when you switch?
  • This probably isn't helpful, but I usually just ignore phases since they don't seem to have a huge effect on the kid (except the bear one). Parents can talk to them about it too.
  • From what I understood, they basically just time out eventually. If that has been bugged to death, no idea.
  • You can have a parent talk to them about the phase. It doesn't always remove them, but it sometimes seems to shorten them. Loud is the only one that I can think of that usually doesn't. I just make sure to turn off the radios after the kid has turned them on loud. Or give them a violin.

I don't switch households, so I have no experience with the bug.
  • The distant one can be shortened by volunteering together and putting the Lego like model together.
