How to vacation in Sulani (with working rental lots)

That's a PITA though. :* I never know who I am going to play or rotate to at any given time.

I'll just use generic for vacationing sims and deduct from their household. Much easier.....

Whatever works for you. :) and I can appreciate the difficulty here if you rotate households at random.

For people like myself who rotate in a set order or people who only play one household this is definately an easier option.

I rotate regularly and that would definitely work for me, and really it’s just a matter of moving a file in and out. Thanks for the heads up!

I thought this was an actual feature and now I am disappointed. I don't want to change the whole as a few of my sims live there.

Guys, it could just be me but there’s the option to make a rental lot in Sulani (or possibly everywhere)! I saw it when I was building yesterday. This is without mods; I play vanilla.

I wish we could place rental lots everywhere we wanted. I would get so much use out of that.

This and owning multiple homes. And renting some of them to npcs that should pay a rent. I'ld love to have a real estate empire pack.

To be honest I wish they included the option in settings to change worlds from rental to liveable. I'd love to have my sims live in Selvadorada but that's not an option (and the mod is very glitchy when you try to turn a vacation into a residential so that didn't work for me). For me I prefer Sulani to be a liveable world, but there should be the option to make it into a vacation world for those who want to vacation there

Will only some of the lots be rental or i it the whole world?

That is a good idea, BabySquare, although I have to agree with fullspiral about it being a PITA to use it for a work-around. Hmmm . . . maybe we can all put on our thinking caps to figure out other alternatives once we have the game. (Speaking for myself: I am 1 hour and 9 minutes from download :)

Thank you!!! I play rotational and it would be great to just let a household change lot for just one day but not having to sell their own one.

Yes, retail or generic lots can be used but it is nice not having to remember to deduct simoleons from them. It just takes me out of the fame a tiny bit.

If I also can make Granite Falls a residential world life would be awesome!
