How would you feel if they released skating in a stuffpack?

I want skating rinks in TS4 bad. I hope their added at some point whether it's in a stuffpack,gamepack or an expansion.

I think any skating and ice skating could give lots of incredibly cute animations as they learn to skate, plus lots of couples' ones. I'd think about buying a stuff pack for once.

I wouldn't be against it, but I think skating really should be in a Seasons or Hobby Pack. I mean apart from the skating rink, what objects and clothing would we actually get? A stuff pack is more than just the gameplay feature...

Hockey is about the only thing that would make me interested in Sims 4. along with proper hockey jerseys (sweaters in Canada). And I mean proper "ice" hockey.

I don't care for activities sold separately. Being sold separately doesn't mean that they'd have any more depth or fun inherently baked in. They don't.

Just look at the bowling SP. The Sims don't talk to each other while bowling. No high-fives, no trash-talking, no teams, no picking up spares, no genuine scoring based on the pins we saw knocked down, nothing that makes bowling fun. It would have been nice to even have one Sim designated as a scorer. Put them to sit at a table with a pen and paper and react to the ongoing game. Not even that. Nothing.

So, if this is what piecemeal activities are going to be like, no thanks.

I'd love that^^ Adding skate parks to actual parks could be cool too, I loved the ice skating in the sims3 and would definitely love skateboarding or rollerblading in the sims 4^^

If they did what you suggest then they would just give us a skating ring and then it would not be included in Season so the Sims would not be able to skate on a pond. Seems like that is how they are dong things just adding them in from to time.

The reason I mentioned it is cause we got a bowling sp. I thought skating could take the bite off waiting for Seasons if they release it in a Stuffpack.

Yeah I can see how it would be a logical step for the team to go, considering the previous themes other stuff packs have used, but I just find it hard to see what "stuff" would be included in a skating stuff pack. The idea brought up by @ayyitsmell would probably be a better idea.
