I am doing a one person small vet clinic experiment (COMPLETED)

Ok so my small vet centre is build, money is transferred. I was lucky enough to keep my perks from the previous vet so I added the good quality equipment as well. My sim is heading home now to get a good night's rest and then will open her clinic tomorrow morning 8am :)

As you can see its just the basics. My sim will be the only vet. I will only serve one patient at a time by using the disallow function on the podium so that there is no waiting, although I do have the patient perk.

I love that I got the perk points and rewards from my previous vet centre :) Ok let me get my sim to bed now.

I forgot to put up the quality of the equipment so it was on standard, I just put it up now. I closed up shop early because of the star ratings above the patients and owners heads but it did not make a difference, I think I might have to do this test with a new save and new sim with 0 Vets skills and perks to make it more realistic.

Ok first time open and saw 3 patients. At the end of the day had enough perk points to unlock better equipment and to get the patient patients perk. So they will be used the next time the clinic opens. Here is the reactions of my 3 patients and owners.

The growth opportunity was the place needs to be cleaner and better equipment.

So my sim is saying Lets see what happens next, but now I wanna go home and eat ;)

Second time open, made changes.
Using the better equipments and patient patients perk that I unlocked previously.
Added a more expensive and comfier couch in the waiting room.
From reading others experience I am now doing this as well, here is the original quote ;)

Said my price is to high, so I will lower it from 100 to 75 and see if that helps
Said my place is dirty or better furnishings, not sure what to do there as there was not even one puddle, will work on that one
Love the service, so will keep on with calming pets during exam and just before I administer the cure.

Any tips or advice would be very much appreciated, especially about the dirty or not well furnished clinic ;)

Okie dokie so to try and get that other dirty or not well furnished up I added lots of flowers (thank goodness that we can minimize things now) that have environment scores to the vet. Will see what happens when we open the next day.

Ugh I am so frustrated. Everything went so well until my last patient Barthlomew showed up and vomited everywhere. I think I had the better furnishing done until he showed up. You will see in the pics below what I mean, but for now here were day 3 results.

Try calming down the pet. I had 2 patients that remained calm, Barthlomew on the other hand was stressed the whole time, although I did calm him before every examination and before the treatment, so not sure why that is there
Try cleaning up the clinic, well thats not my fault, the cat would not stop puking bleh
Great services at great prices, I guess the price drop to 75% made them happy so we will keep it at that.

Here are the patients visit results, as you can see they loved the decor so I think if it was not for the puky cat then we would have been a-ok there.

Day 4.
Changes I made. Added another fully upgraded vacuum roomba, they are set to auto clean every three hours and is one hour apart from each other.

Place is dirty clean it up (we will thank Josie for that grrr)
Cost to expensive lower price or use better quality . No idea, its at lowest and using best quality perhaps just had an off day :/
Pets were nice and calm, yip they were even Josie puking all over the show

So we upped a star level although I had a dreadful time with Josie puking up a storm, right after both the vacuums did their check for puddles :p

@mirta000 welcome to the small clinic experiment :) Feel free to post your findings and pics here as well. Ooh your's are so much more strict, I used motherlode and a sim that has steelbladder and so on :D Can't wait to see your results.
