I have yet to even bother trying the toddler playdate thing - based on the continual hassle of having to add toddlers into the game.
TS4 was clearly meant to be a single-Sim game that just partied and did single-Sim stuff all day and all night.
Family-play is so incomplete in multiple ways.
Toddlers are technically an afterthought bolted onto the game.
It is so much hassle to have to edit the entire game to add toddlers, add beds and stuff for them in every NPC house. Then you worry that NPC households can even care for a toddler - do they even know what it is?
