I can’t check open auditions.

I fixed it. I had to cancel her gig in order to check for more open auditions. Her current gig wasn’t even posted on the career tab... lol

I had a similar thing happen to me. I saved my sim and moved them into a new save game (I'd accidentally deleted the PDP Lot so couldn't attend awards ceremonies) and tried to load up her auditions to find they wouldn't work - the window would pop up but nothing appeared in there. I managed to fix it by having my sim quit her job before saving her and moving her over, but now I have to start from the bottom of her career again. If I use cheats to promote her to where she was at before, the auditions disappear again. Deleting the local thumb cache and repairing the game had no effect. I removed all CC and the bug was still there.

Same here...posted about it in the EA thing. Then found this thread. Solved by checking her phone and canceling the gig, THANKS A MILLION :)

You can check the career tab to see if you have one going and if you want to check your phone, click on the career tab when you click on your phone and if it says, “cancel gig” or “cancel audition”, you will see that you already have one going.

Thank you so much for posting this! I had been struggling with the same problem for a while. Both my sim actors had a gig that disappeared and I couldn't get any new auditions for them.

But with your comment , it really helped. I went to the phone and saw that the gig was still showing there (at least the option to "cancel gig" was there). As soon as I did it, all worked again! :DDDDDD

:( Going to the phone and cancelling the audition isn't working for me..The audition doesn't cancel.. This expansion has so many bugs..
