Thank you so much for posting this! I had been struggling with the same problem for a while. Both my sim actors had a gig that disappeared and I couldn't get any new auditions for them.
But with your comment , it really helped. I went to the phone and saw that the gig was still showing there (at least the option to "cancel gig" was there). As soon as I did it, all worked again! :DDDDDD
