I like the upcoming Likes and Dislikes feature, but I'm wondering...
I like that upcoming Likes and Dislikes feature and especially the facts that these come through an update, are not limited to home design wants, and multiple can be chosen.
However, I am wondering about three things.
So, the music genres from all add-ons are covered, but what about skills? For example, robotics from Discover University, herbalism from Outdoor Retreat etc etc. (Edit. The answer is yes according to the life stream. Thank you!)
Also seeing from the picture from Sims Community of activities and skills section, I see four base game skills left out: gourmet cooking, charisma, logic, and photography. With gourmet cooking I understand it goes under cooking and charisma doesn't really seem to have hobby like activities. Photography I sort of understand because it's the player taking pictures. What I don't understand at all is why logic skill is left out when it has activities like using observatory, playing chess, looking through microscope etc. If not name them under logic, why not name under science?
Lastly, I hope that more things that sims can like and dislike will be added. If so, would there be more activities added under activities section that doesn't have a skill associated to them like swimming and diving, street art, board games, hiking etc?
I'll repeat I love this idea and I hope to see improvements in the future. Thank you for bringing that in game, Maxis!
Edit. Those who would like to add ideas on what likes and dislikes should be in game, here's the discussion for those ideas.
