In the past, a sim would gain happiness just being in a finely decorated room. You could literally see the points going up. It made accumulating rewards much more organic. At least, in my opinion. ...

I've modded this out of my game for as long as I can remember. I hate sims being permanently happy just because they have nice items. It's not realistic to life. I want my sims emotions to be based off important things that happen to them in their lives and not by what they own.
