What is the hardest thing you've done on The Sims?
I want all of the details, was it the monstrous 100 baby challenge? Attempted a build and it was a lot harder in practice than first thought? Tried to get away with multiple affairs and found yourself tangled up in knots keeping your Sim out of trouble?
Equally, what is the worst thing you've done on The Sims?
I don't think I need to explain the parameters for that one...
The hardest thing I've done was to learn to build. I'm still not good at it, but I can build a decent starter home.
The worst thing was when I was playing with the Villareals. Jacques needed to witness a death. Since he is a mobster, I decided he should probably cause the death. So he invited a coworker over who I decided had secretly displeased him and locked him in a room. It was horrible seeing his victim's despair. Jacques finished his aspiration and then froze to death days later leaving his children orphans.
It's great storytelling, though!
While I love the commitment to it I feel like Jacques overcommitted with that last part, the poor children! 😂 which aspiration needs someone to witness a death??
I also find building quite tough on Sims 4
😂 Yes, the last was unintentional on my part. Windenberg has very cold winters and the Villereals have a large lot. Jacques had the Public Enemy aspiration plus he was in the criminal career. That was in my last save, so in my new one Jacques is still walking around the world sleeping on park benches.

cyncie ok firstly kudos for trying to stage anything with Sims, they’re slippery ones at the best.

Hardest Thing: Deciding that my musically inclined Sim should join a dance team/club as part of her High School Years experience, which is not even a thing in the game, and then putting this video of a gameplay performance/recital together.
Worst Thing: I don't do cruel things to my Sims, so the worst things for me were 1) installing Sims 3 Island Paradise (even with mods and edits to the world it never worked well on a certain computer for me) and 2) encountering a fatal/save-destroying error in the Sims 3 and not having that save backed up.

meeshwoodLegacies are so hard! I've only ever completed one and I'm on Gen 8 of another hoping that by writing a story for it I'll force myself to finish it 😂 oh my goodness that escalated so quickly, that poor unsuspecting elderly Sim! 😂😂

I never liked things with zombies in so didn’t watch the show or the machinima but I’m sure I heard about it and saw it around online, that’s an amazing piece of work I’m so sorry YouTube did that! I completely see how that wouldn’t motivate you to do it again. I’m holding onto all video files for dear life in case YouTube does something 😂
nope not petty at all I am right there with you! CAS is so counter intuitive, sometimes my Sim has the same hair and make up for their whole life please don’t make me assign it to individual outfits 😂
I can definitely share some pics. I added 4 or 5 pages to my Imgur just for Liberty and Matteo's wedding chapter of Under The Tartosan Sun. I went with the philosophy that if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing. 🤣

LizzielilyyI had the files backed up on an external drive but amongst the commotion I also misplaced, aka lost, that storage with a bunch of other projects. UGH! :( Now that I think about it, I did actually start another series since then, it was a 2016 project "Life Is", and I did a whole first season of it and then again lost the backups on my external drive and just gave up lol

Hardest thing- A legacy. I've tried several times but I'm never gotten further than 4 generations. I play on long lifespan though and fully play out each generations so I guess I'm not really trying as hard as I could.
Worse thing- After the birth of his child this random elderly sim came to help out. My sim romanced her and they woohood until she died 🫣
Ignacio Robles is the only sim I've had die by Woo Hoo. He was Romantic and at the end of his life. No regrets.
Back in S3 I had made a whole series (machinima) of The Walking Dead (fanfiction spin off), put days - weeks - months into that project! I had great feedback on it until YouTube terminated my account for violating code of conduct or some nonsense. The thing too was that I made a lot of the cc that was in each episode, poses and some animations, etc. I built and staged all the sets for it. The whole thing took a lot of acute focus and patience, and then to lose it when YouTube shut my account down really sucked. This all happened years ago now, and I still don't have the energy to start a project like that again.
Otherwise, I dunno, I don't gameplay much really. I find more enjoyment from creating and building. I think the hardest thing for me with the Sims is not pulling my hair out at how clunky CAS is... lol. Yes, I'm petty! Why can't all the layers of face details put on with the first outfit carry over to the other outfits? UGHHH. Haha. Biggest pain and challenge :P
The new base game update (today!) includes apply to all feature for CAS. It looks more nuanced than that - you can select which outfits you want it to apply to. Your dreams are answered! And mine, tbh.
