- ChadSims24 years agoSeasoned RookieIf I could only get one pack it would have to be Get Together as it allows you to create clubs and have certain Sims show up to lots and do activities you want you want to work around the many limitations set on community lots. For example I was able to create a arcade lot Sims will actually show up and play the games set up which would never happen without this expansion.
- OEII10014 years agoSeasoned AceMy EP choices would be between Seasons and Pets. In the end, I guess that I'd have to go with Seasons, although I'd really miss furry friends and Brindleton Bay.
- Seasons.. you need it to add realism and it really adds to the gameplay/stories
- FatTribble234 years agoSeasoned AceMe personally, Seasons. But if that was the only EP I could have, I'd go back to playing Sims 3.
- Seasons, definitely.
It's a beautiful pack. And watching the seasons change and having the holidays and the calendar, it really makes it feel like time is actually passing in game, instead of every day feeling the same. With seasons, I have actual years now that I can follow. Plus I love being able to make school breaks for my child/teen sims. I get so much done during "summer break".
Second would be Parenthood. As a family oriented player I love how much that pack adds to gameplay. And the character values really help sims act more like individuals, something that this game is extremely lacking. I know most people try to go for all positive values, but I love giving sims negative ones as well. Again, it really makes them feel more unique, especially since counting both positive and negative traits, there are 10 different traits you can have. IMO they're some of the best in-game because they actually effect autonomy or how sims react in conversations or their jobs. It really has a huge impact. My only complaint is that you only get those traits once your sim ages up to YA, since toddlers-teens are still working on the traits. So, like, I understand why they only unlock at YA, but they're just so good ?
So yeah. Seasons, then Parenthood. - ImSands4 years agoSeasoned AceIt would be a very tough choice for me between Seasons and Get Together. I love seasons for adding, well, seasons and weather to the game. I love being able to create holidays and pre-plan things like birthday parties, etc. The Sims Worlds without Seasons for me feel very incomplete.
However, Get Together adds a big beautiful world, Windenburgh. And the club system is the best feature in any expansion pack to date in my humble opinion. I have like 150+ clubs in the my game. It adds much needed life (and drama!) to the community lots in the way that I have set up my clubs. There are rivalries! I couldn't imagine my game without it anymore. - JesLet404 years agoSeasoned AceSeasons - hands down.
Unlike the other expansion packs, which add a flavour to your game, seasons affects the base game itself and adds variation to the game as well as ways to tell that time actually pass. - The Seasons for the EP. It's a real game changer. Just imagine having a world that changes every season, except Oasis Spring, if you have the base game only.
Parenthood for the GP. This is actually one of the best packs. If you enjoy the generational play, this pack comes with additional trait that will help your Sims in the future.
Tiny Living for the SP. This is a great addition to the game. It allows the Sims to living large in a small space.
Then again, I don't know your play style, but this is going to be my choice if I have to choose one each. - EP Cottage Living=rabbits, easy choice for me ;)
also besides the rabbits, it reminds me alot of stardew valley a game I looove so I really enjoy the gameplay coming with it and the world is one of my favorites, also the BB is gorgeous (it has lots of rabbits too).
GP...either vampires or realm of magic.
I really cant choose...I love them both so much.
Sp...paranormal stuff. - kukkahilla4 years agoSeasoned AceIt's a tough question, because so many packs have something that is really important to me.
EP: I enjoy Seasons (the weather and holidays) and Get Together (dancing, clubs, woohoo bushes and closets, nightclubs and other lots) a lot, and I think I'll enjoy Cottage Living once I buy it. Island Living is also important because being able to swim in an ocean and play in sand is something I really wanted to have in TS4. Yet if I could only have one EP I might actually pick Snowy Escape because there is snow, snow activities, rock climbing, swimmable lake, woohoo bushes (at least I think so, I haven't used the SE once in my game yet), hot springs, festivals, hot pot and a tent ( <3 !!). I think SE would provide a lot of fun as an only EP.
GP: Vampires. I enjoy playing them and the skill tree provides a lot of options for gameplay.
SP: ... Paranormal stuff. I really like haunted houses and living in one makes staying at home so much more fun. I also adore the CAS and BB style of this pack.
