Inappropriate behavior??

Has anyone experienced this or know anything about it? My sims youngest daughter, Megan, visited her parents & grandmother with her husband and two toddlers, Beth & Brandon. The house has toddler beds & potty chairs. Beth needed sleep so I sent her to take a nap in one of the toddler beds. Her great grandmother came in a minute later and said “this is inappropriate. Please stop”. Beth woke up and went off to play. A little while later I sent her to take a nap again & the same thing happened. I finally just sent Megan & family home. Beth & Brandon are good friends with their great grandmother. I can’t understand what is inappropriate with a toddler taking a nap.

    @Jordyn78988 It worked! Many thanks!!

    So glad it worked for you! :)
  • I had a storyline once where an elderly mother lost her husband to illness and was left alone in their big ol’ house by herself. I decided to have her daughter come visit once a week to help clean up the house and, because she was a chef with a maxed out cooking skill, cook her mom some good meals for the week as this is something that some seniors struggle to do (particularly when cooking for just themselves all of a sudden) in the real world.

    Well, mom found it rude that her daughter took out the trash and weeded the garden. And cooked food that her daughter was paying for to put in her fridge. I used the Always Welcome reward to get around it, but it breaks the storytelling aspect to have sims react so weirdly to people who they are related to/close to.

    THAT is what should be considered as inappropriate behaviour.

    Taking a nap on your nana's bed when you're 9 should be seen as normal.
    Raiding your parents fridge should be seen as normal.
  • Cooking food for a starving toddler in the brothers and sisters house were my sim lived all her life and moved out just couple days ago should be normal, but she got kicked out :(

    Thanks @Jordyn78988. I can try, but they took a lot of cheats away with the Seasons patch. Although I think they added some back. Anyway, I’ll check it out.

    There is a mod to get them back, if you do need it. http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=614263

    That is terrible. I wish the sims would recognize familial relationships to over look "inappropriate behavior" or at least if they have good relationship (like full green bar) then they allow cooking. Also, I wish they would give toddlers a pass. Toddlers should be able to sleep in any house and not be considered inappropriate.
  • This is what keeps me from accepting the invites when they pop up. Last time I did, my sim showed up and no one was there. I waited several sim hours....so I figured I'd have him cook since he was getting hungry and he was at his girlfriend's apartment and figured they could have dinner when she finally did come home. And since no one was home, maybe he wouldn't get yelled at. ;)

    Ha! Guess who suddenly appeared literally out of nowhere to yell at how inappropriate he was being? She then promptly takes a quick meal out of the fridge and begins to eat. So I had him grab one as well and she was totally ok with that at least.

    BUT later when he invited her over to his house, she makes a beeline for his fridge and begins to clean out the spoiled food and take out the trash. I mean...great, thanks. Saves my sim from having to do it but why the double standard?? Lol
