Interracial families: When genetics only go either way...
I had an interracial couple have three children. The wife is dark-skinned with black hair and brown eyes while the husband is white with blonde hair and green eyes. There was no "mixing" as would be most likely in real life, the first kid is white with blonde hair, the second is dark like their mother and the youngest is white and blonde. They all seem to have gotten their mother's eye shape but the youngest is the only one with green eyes.
Do you usually get these one-way genetics or more of a mix (like the skin tone being somewhere between the two from the parents?
Here's Mary Smith (on the left) with her children: Elisabeth, Jonathan and James.

Close-ups are under the spoiler, along with the dad who I had to get from the gallery since he has died of old age.
