Invisible walls

Hello
Repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair

Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps

If the issues still remain, try resetting your sims 4 folder, starting a new save game file, and testing to see if it occurs there . To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated.
Start a new game and test to see if the issue is in that new save game.
Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or "options" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder.

Thank you for your help but I've already done literally all of that and it's still the same

I am sorry that you are having these issues :(
If you haven’t already done this, try shutting down your computer completely. Start the computer again, then log into Origin, launch the game and test to see if the issues remain.

If you are using the moo cheat, try turning it off and see if the issues remain.

Make sure that your graphics drivers are uptodate.

If the issue remains, it would be best to start a thread on the AHQ EA site and post about the issue there.

What wall are you trying to build ... Like an outer wall of a building or say an inner wall of a bathroom.

It might be something as simple as needing to have 'walls up' instead of 'cut away'.

Just a regular wall, I wanted to add a third floor to an existing house. The walls on that house, are fine, however if I copy one of the rooms in the house, and put it down, those walls become invisible and the things uve hung on the wall are just hanging in mid air. Ive tried walls up, cutaway, and down, and as I said I have tried a completely fresh game. Ive tried different lots and just now ive updated my driver, updated windows and restarted my pc. Its only happening since I decided to play yesterday and updated to the latest patch. Im about to panic.
