Invite Neighbors In...

Question

Anytime there is a welcome wagon or any other kind of event that involves neighbors being nice, the option to invite neighbors in NEVER works! I click on the option multiple times and nothing. I've tried clicking on other neighbors to invite them in but still nothing. It's been going on for a while now, &amp; now every time and event happens, the neighbors get offended because I won't invite them in.

I can give a friendly introduction, but I don't. Seems when the welcome wagon comes around, you have to wait till the one bringing the plate of food gets there (they are usually the last one to arrive), then it pops up to invite neighbors inside. Then I invite them in, LOL

Are you able to make a friendly introduction?  I've found if I introduce myself to one, the 'invite in' option disappears &amp; they all troop into my house without an explicit invitation.  Might function as a workaround for you?

I've had this happen while living in an apartment. The one that was supposed to come with the cake never arrived, but 2 others did and they was just standing there forever.

Invite In has been working for me, but as @Tiarella pointed out, it's not necessary.  As usual, it's worth checking mods for conflicts, and maybe doing a game repair.
