Is anyone else getting stalker sims after the pack update?

In a different save, awhile back my sim seemed to have their own stalker of sorts. That crazy cat lady from cats and dogs, she kept calling my sim household. If one member of the family ignored her call, she called another member of the family. Until someone picked up the call. They never had a break from her persistent calling and unexpected dropins until she finally died and passed into the netherworld. But this was way before the recent update. No idea what was going on with the game, but it added a bit of spice. ?
