Is anyone else having issues packing sack lunches?

Works fine for me. She was able to make peanut butter and jelly and when she was done she bagged and set it on the table, no problems. I had her grab and put it in the refrigerator, no problems. And she was able to take it out and put it in her inventory still no problems.

Now, we need to talk about her skills in the kitchen.....because I don't know where she got the idea, but I don't ever recall using tomatoes in my PB&J.? Oh, those wacky sims.

Thanks for at least checking it out, @DaniRose2143. It works for me fine too in some of my played households...and even the ones where it isn't working can go to a different location and pack them there. :lol:

And thank you for the compliment. My now legendary mods folder is about to become a lot less legendary. Until I started doing all these makeovers with all Maxis Match I hadn't realized just how much MM had improved. I think that MM hair looks better on her then any alpha hair I have. I'm a convert. I'm going to make one folder for alpha and set it aside on my desktop for those times I want to do an all alpha save.

Anyway let me go try a few households, brb.

@Stormkeep I forgot to ask does it seem to happen more with PB&J, tuna salad, or veggie & hummus?

I tried three different households and had each of them make each of the three sack lunches and no problems. I had them make the lunch, then put it in their inventory, then put it away, and then place it in the world. Glitch free for me anyway.

@DaniRose2143, I actually rarely make any of those sack lunches. I make sack lunches from actual food platters of family meals that have been prepared. That said, in the households/lots where I have this problem, it is also a problem for all 3 of the "basic" sack lunches.

I'll write myself a note so that I can try this here and there and see if it ever pops up. Maybe somebody else can replicate it too.

I packed some lunches and mine worked okay. I had a similar issue with plates a while back after an update. I had Sims put plates down and they would just be floating at odd angles in mid air near the table. It doesn't happen anymore though.

If you save the house, upload it to the gallery put it in another save and move the same family in, does it still have a problem? I was also wondering if it could possibly have to do with moo in some houses or a house that has platforms, or terrain manipulation.
I don’t really know anything about mods and stuff, but I remember after an update where you can manipulate terrain I was in one of my households with an older house I had made before the update, I don’t use moo or anything and I’m not even sure it was because of the terrain update, but I couldn’t move objects into a certain space. I had to fool around with that house a long time knocking out walls and stuff, and pretty much completely rebuilding that room.

Saw the bug report on AHQ a couple of days ago, but haven’t added to it yet as the issue I’ve been getting with sack lunches since the update is a bit different.

What’s been happening in my game is that my sims will make two of the basic sack lunches in the evening and then in the morning when I drag them to the kid’s inventories, they’ll just disappear or to be precise become invisible inside their inventories. It threw me off at first so if the kids’ hunger meters were in the yellow, I’d let them have breakfast (I usually skip their breakfast because I find the moodlet from the sack lunch rather sweet), but when they returned from high/school, the sack lunches were there in their inventories visible again and uneaten since they hadn’t been hungry due to having had breakfast.

However, what I’ve also noticed is that this doesn’t happen immediately after I’ve opened up a save. It starts happening after I’ve played for a while and if I save and exit and go back in, things will be back to “normal” - well, at least for the sack lunches (and the kids suddenly returning from high/school on their own), but many of the annoying little “tweaks” or issues brought on by the latest update will still be there.
