Is Get famous worth getting? (& quirks question)

I am planning to get it but have not yet. I'm a lot busier these days but I am planning to add this in. I'm glad to hear that fame can be turned on and off. I will make use of that in my rotation but I definitely will be getting this to add into the mix.

My decision-making is just because my lifestyle is busy now, but I definitely still love my sims. I've been playing again lately when I get a chance. Playing with fame is always something I've enjoyed in the sims, so when I get my rotation to where I want it, I will add this.

I'm looking forward to the acting career and it sounds like they added a lot of things that I wanted. My unpopular op is that I like lots of detailed visual effects in the worlds so I'm sure I will enjoy the new world even if it is small. There will be a lot that I can do with this pack. I have a lot of families at different socio-economic levels so adding the fame element will add in a new layer.
