Is Get Together Worth the Money?
I’m thinking about getting Get Together when I can afford it. People who own Get Together, do you think it’s worth 40 bucks?

I completely agree with this. Personally, I love the club system and put it to use regularly, but if it's something that isn't appealing to you, maybe wait until you can get this pack at a discount. Windenburg is gorgeous, but I'm not big on the clothes, hair, and about half of the objects that came with the pack.
Overall, I would suggest that you watch gameplay videos and look at all of the CAS and build/buy mode options and then make your decision from there.
