helloI have a Lenovo laptop, and I play The Sims 4 on it. Lately the game is a bit laggy, slow and it takes between 10 to 15 minutes to load.I would like to know if my laptop settings fill the requirements for running the sims 4. You are welcome.I almost forgot: I do not merge script mods as some of them require to be placed in a specific folder or come as *.zip files. But I had no problem with any CC so far.One last hint: I have two subfolders, one for script mods/gameplay mods, and one just for CAS. While in the CAS directory I use windows search to filter all *.package files and drag them all to S4Studio, that way it literally only takes seconds to re-merge.

I meant CC, not CAS, but you get the picture. It really is degrading that I cannot revise my typos as "new member".

But if you google "The Sims 4 System Requirements" you will find EA's help page. There you will find the system requirements.

There is also info on how you can read your systems hardware info as well as a link to a tool that lets you test your PC for TS4 compatibility.

Do you use mods?

If so then one of these could be the reason. Also, if you have a lot of CC you could try to merge it with S4Studio, that considerably helped reducing my initial loading time.

I heard that the merging cc is very helpful but causes problems later when you have outdated cc and want to delete some of them..
can I do it without worry about deleting cc later?

I wouldn't say problems. If CC gets updated you will probably want to merge again. But it's a matter of a few seconds if you have your mods organized.

Ok. Thank you very much for your help. By the way, I merged now some of my cc (like some hairs together and some clothes together etc) and the game takes a lot of time to load like before. I will try to merge another cc (I have nearly 6000 items in my mods folder) it will take me a long time to merge all :D but I will try to.

It wouldn’t run the game on high settings, that’s for sure. It has a substandard dual core processor and only 1 gb of vram.
