Is it possible to uninstall the infants update?

There are essential parts to the game that I really like that are now broken such as male sim PFA and I really don't see how infants has added to the game other than just having them run around. I've ...

Also no idea what PFA means. My Sims never bother with the paid family leave option but I realise it’s important to some.
