Is it true the latest patch broke Sims 4? Is it unplayable?

I've just read that Maxis doesn't plan to patch the Sims 4 this month, because they don't plan to release any new content (patches can't just fix problems anymore I guess) I haven't actually fired ...

I haven’t really encountered anything extremely noticeable.

I’ll probably avoid my Not So Berry save for a bit because of the Science career clothing oddities going on but the rest of my saves have been completely playable with no glaring glitches. I’ve played in three or four different saves since the patch.
