I sent my newlyweds to Mt. Komorebi for a honeymoon, since it's been so hot in Del Sol Valley. I thought they could use the change of season. But, they got stuck in their rental place. I mean, literally stuck. I tried a number of times to have them go sledding together. I even tried to have them just have a snow fight. Every time I checked back on them when they didn't show up Erik was waving his arms suggesting something was blocking their path. I then brought them 'home' to his parents' house. From there I had him give a concert and act in a film. But, I want them to have a brief honeymoon. Next stop is Uni. Now, I have to figure out just where to send them. I guess they could build sand castles instead of snow pals. I'm not sure how Kayleigh will fare is they go camping. LOL My cousins did that on their honeymoon, it was kinda of bizarre — at least my parents through so at the time.

I wouldn't say it's broken I noticed my couple had trouble sledding together but I moved them closer and they were able to sled fine, I think there are some issues with how close and far away you can be from things.

Did you perhaps lock the doors with another household at that rental lot to allow "household only" on a previous visit? If you lock doors with a different household, they remain locked when you return to the location. This happens to my university sims all the time, because I always lock some of the Dorm doors.Either that or, as @RedDestiny92 indicated, you just had to do the 'go here' option to get them closer first. That happens to me for many things as well.

I had a similar, maybe related, problem from the very first day. Whenever sims are in a group and try skiing or snowboarding with the "Ski/snowboard together" command, the action will fail. Sometimes they were all standing right at the base of the bunny slope, and it still didn't work, so if distance between sim and slope is a factor, then it has to be an extremely small distance. "Sled with" usually works.For context, I don't use rentals. The target lot I send my sims to when visiting the slopes is zoned as a cafe.

I did unlock them again after using MCCC to have three Paparazzi and a Fan be removed from the premises. (Yes, they were inside the LOVE NEST.) This usually does the trick, but yet they were still there. Then it dawned on my, hey, they can't get out because I locked the door on them. MWAHAHAHA. The couple kept complaining something was in their way. Face/palm. I pulled them from Mt. Komorebi and sent them to the original destination I had planned and set up for. Sulani. Things are still wonky. I am now seriously considering removing the broken RTF mod, with the notion, Erik can still write songs and win Accolades without it. I can always supplement his income via MCCC. I believe GF will supply the royalites on the songs he has licensed. He does receive royalties on the four CDs, and he has three more record packages that just need to be released. I know how many Simoleons he receives per album, so I can add that in, since it occurs daily. I don't know if I'll have to roll back to a date prior to when the mod broke, though. Could be the save is corrupted already. :'( Waaaa. Unfortunately, the creator of this wonderful mod will not be giving it or some of his other mods (which I have chosen NOT to use) until after June. He's in his last semester of college. That's a long wait from now. But I do respect his decision. I would like to continue to play this save, since I won't touch the other Erik save, while the mod is broken. Stuck between a rock and a hard place.Thank you for your thoughts on this problem. I wouldn't say it's broken I noticed my couple had trouble sledding together but I moved them closer and they were able to sled fine, I think there are some issues with how close and far away you can be from things.

@EnkiSchmidt, were all the sims played sims? Because unplayed sims would have issues skiing or snowboarding if you never gave them skis or a snowboard.
...played sims would too, for that matter. But for those at least it's much easier to know they don't have them.

I'm asking this for my own interest, as I haven't done much skiing in the game yet and knowing what works or doesn't ahead of time is helpful. I just want to rule out 'lack of skis' if I can before adding "ski together is a problem" to my list of things to know about taking sims skiing.

I couldn't even get them out of their rental lot to try to sled together. Total bust.

Yeah, I sent them to Sulani, after a very brief stop back at his parents' home. Bills had to be paid. LOL Having problems in Sulani as well. As I stated earlier in response to Stormkeep, I really am beginning to realize what a broken mod can do to a save.

I have taken Sims to Mt. Komorebi in that past. Clicking on the Bunny Slopes has never been an issue, prior, neither was my Sims' ability to leave their lot a problem before yesterday. I suppose the broken mod in my game could be the culprit. I just was so surprised that things weren't working since the last time I had taken Sims to that location.
