Is the non commitment trait to blame for this

I have a couple, i used the relationship cheat to help them get romantic.

The guy, has a non commitment trait..

But their relationship was good, they had a baby too.

But then one day, my sim girl went up to give the guy a kiss, and he shoved her. Then she tried again to embrace him and do other romantic things and he kept pushing her. I felt just as hurt as she did. :(

I had him move out right away, what a jerk!!

I just wonder why he did such a 1/80 (however you say it) on her?

Maybe the cheat covered up the fact that they were unsuitable; I had a Sim I created as a boyfriend for one of my Sims, and I used the relationship cheat to up the relationship, but the relationship just never seemed to go anywhere. After a while after my Sim married and had a son and he grew into a young adult, he ended up married to the Sim I'd created.

I see, that could be, I only raised the romantic part of their relationship, not the friendship part..

Well he was a sim I hadn't made, the girl sim I had made.

Hello!

The only thing I have found the noncommittal trait to effect is jobs. My sim fell in love with a townie that had that trait and I figured it wouldn't go anywhere. They went on dates got engaged and finally married in a sim week. Moved him in and he didn't have a job, got him one and after that he wants to change jobs at least once a week. No relationship issues, loves his new baby, just hates being committed to a job. Finally made him a stay at home dad that programs apps! He is very happy! :p

When you use the relationship cheat, it only boosts the relationship of Sim A to Sim B, Sim B's relationship to Sim A remains the same.

Repeat the cheat and swap the names, otherwise you're left with unrequited love.

My sim married a townie(yes, it was Don) who has the non-committal trait. He went thru with the marriage. Then he started becoming "tense" all the time and it would show a bubble of a wedding ring over his head.

I wonder what mood he was in when she got rejected? If Don is in a happy mood, mine got rejected because their friendship bar was half way up, but the romance was more (this happened before the marriage though)

I'm not actually sure what mood he was in.. I could give him another chance before he meets the Cow plant, but I'm not sure.. (lol jk, I don't kill my sims, but this time I might be tempted..).

and no, he's not Don Lothorio, just a random townie.
