Is there a smart way to locate a sim's gravestone?

A sim died from old age, but when I enter the household I can't find the gravestone or urn. Do sims die on community lots or when visiting other houses on free will? Or do they always die on their home lot if dieing when the lot is not played? Is there a smart way to locate the grave/urn? I can't find it...

  • And just to clarify here. This is a NPC sim (a friend) that died offscreen. For the life of me I can't find her Urn or Tombstone on my property anywhere.

Ah, I don't know about NPCs. I think most sims will get their gravestone on the lot where they reside(d), NPC sims normally "reside" at a hidden lot, they probably leave no gravestone there. Sorry, can't help. Hopefully others can.
  • i had this problem but i was lucky enough to already have a tomb stone on the lot. I had the ghost posses his sons gravestone and when he did it split into both gravestones. While it was floating/being possessed, i used build mode to move it. :)
