Is there a way a sim can pass leadership of a club off to another?

The family I'm playing has a club, just with family remembers and their spouses in it. The father has just aged up to elder, and I would like for him to pass leadership to his eldest son. Is there a...

I think if you get enough club members on your side, you get a dialogue option with the leader to ask for the spot yourself. I think they can still choose not to but I had no trouble when I tried it.
