Is there ANY way to get things out of Family Inventory easier?

I moved out of the largest lot because of lag and now I have a LOT of things in my family inventory. Many are stacked, like flowers, etc. It seems like I can't even put things from this family inventory away in storage boxes, I have to put them down ONE BY ONE on the floor or some surface. This is a lot to pick up. Also, if i get something out of the family inventory and put it down, there is lag, and when the lag stops the menu with items reverts back to the top. So now I have to find the same item by scrolling down. I would like to be able to grab a stack and put it in the fridge or in a storage box but it doesn't seem possible, and at this rate I will NEVER get everything out. is there a way maybe to plant one of each perfect plant and then just sell the entire inventory so I don't have so many items in there? I can see I can sell stacks by changing the number of items I'm selling, but it would really help if I could drag stacks to place them in storage boxes or the fridge or just sell in bulk without upping the number. Thanks!

    If you have City Living the 'come and get it store table' can hold a lot of items, and you can keep the table itself in the sim's personal inventory or household inventory. A lot of collectibles can be stored here, including produce. I'm actually searching myself for a way to store pictures (from photography), mounted fish and other stuff that go on the walls.

    When you move out of a house, choose the Sell Furniture option especially if you're moving to a house that's already furnihsed -- go through and make sure you have all your career reward items unless you don't mind buying them again, put those items in the household inventory then move and sell the furniture.

    For selling harvestables, you can drag it from the household inventory over to the Sell area to the left as a group -- you can then choose how many you want to sell. (You get a plus/minus box so you can choose and see how much money you'll make.) If you want to put things in a box you have to drag them out into the world, then you can drag things into the box during Live Mode.
