I'm assuming this came with the update where Sims know that they are being controlled? Cause my Sim won't get rid of the angry emotion that she can't do what she wants to do and thinks that she's miss...

I guess it’s the new fear of unfulfilled dreams if you have wants and fears turned on. It appears when your sim is not doing whatever pops up as their wants. At first they get tense moodlet +2 but later it should escalate. To get rid of it, you do one want that is active and then discuss the fear with other sim. They will get confident moodlet for conquering the fear. If you want this to be absent just turn off the wants and fears from option menu.
And yes, when this fear appears you get notification about someone controlling sim’s life preventing them from achieving their dreams.
