Oh, thanks! I didn't know about this, assuming it was added with the Parenthood pack. I found some info online;
"Fertile is a satisfaction reward trait. When sims have earned 3000 satisfaction points through completing whims, they can buy this in the Satisfaction Reward Store. This trait will affect the lifestyle, hobbies or emotions of your sims."
In my game I prefer this to be something sims don't are aware of, I think being very fertile should not necessarily be something they want or plan for. That said, several sims had trips and twins without that trait, so I'll keep it my way then.
