Is this supposed to be a sprinkler?

Maybe both? The sprinklers in Sims 3 did both. The trailer shows kids playing in it.

I hope it isn't considered so...looks too 'bulky' and just doesn't fit in. Hope it is only for the kids. I want a proper one :D

For those of you who don't mind custom content, Brazen Lotus has a sprinkler at Mod the Sims. It works very well for gardens.

That's kinda unfortunate, I wanted proper looking sprinklers. This is too bulky for my taste.

You could always size it down, or find a way to hide it in some shrubbery, and I’m sure it will still be functional.

It looks like the sprinklers we have here, but I understand wanting some variety. :)
