Another fun one: customers arrive and immediately go around and talk to people so the host can never seat them.
Oh, I find that if you have no music in the restaurant, the customers behave a bit better
i found they dont wonder as much if the seating is a good distance from the host station. it doesnt stop them from going off on their own after their seated but it does get them seated faster.
