If we can have a blizzard with this little snow, which is even more weird, we'll probably have snow days too. Here I had "snow days" and 4cm of snow....this winter traffic was very disturbed with 5cm of snow, the Canadians laughed at us, and I can't really blame them.
I live in the mountain ( about 70 cm of snow ) and i yet still remember that day when we came back from school, our bus got stuck in the snow because they had stooped for too long in a parking lot, while they perfectly knew that it was going to be troublesome, so i can understand how a traffic can be disturbed if you are not used to snow.
But here there is no car, they walk to school and even if your not used, you can walk. You might just be late in fact :D
