I've gotten to the Temple but...
Does anyone know how I enter the temple. I'll get to the entrance and it will say "try to pass through" but I've caught fire a few times now and I'm not sure how to get in. Anyone know the trick?

- You must look for the trigger that will unlock it. Have your sim inspect them to find the right switch, otherwise the trap will activate. If ceratin skills are high, the more likely is your sim going to find the right switch. The triggers are:
1. Talking head (Charisma skill helps you out)
2. Spinning puzzle with lever (Logic skill helps you out)
3. Four offering bowls (Archaeology skill helps you out)
4. Three skeleton statues in the row (Handiness skill helps you out)
5. A sculputre with four holes (Fitness skill helps you out)
6. Emotional Pressue Plate* (Culture skill helps you out)
*The pressure plate has different emotion choices that can be activated with corresponding emotion.
If sim manages to dodge the trap, they'll increase their skill depending on the trap (Talking head will increase Charisma skill)

Good luck! - When you find a trigger device, use the "examine" interaction on it first. That will give you some idea of which actions to try and which to avoid. As @EgonVM said, though, how much information you are likely to obtain will depend on your sim's skill level. Usually there is more than one device per door. One device might not give you a conclusive answer, but the other(s) may. In some cases, you might not be able to obtain a conclusive answer at all. Then you have to decide for yourself whether to take a chance, which could be hazardous for your sim. That's the fun of the game!
- It's helpful to harvest some of the emotion berries when it comes to temple exploring in case you come across those plates as you have to be that motion state in order to use it and eating the appropriate berry solves that problem
- Well, if you go up the stairs to the top floor, you can walk in and then PageDN. Some of the temples, you can enter on the second floor and then use the stairs to get down. When you come to a gate, you will need to inspect the various devices that turn the gate off. Then trigger them appropriately. Hope that helps!
